Engineer I, Software Test and Automation (R6216)

Summary

You will develop Python-based automated tests, test utilities, and analysis tools for autonomous systems software, supporting validation across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and real-world robotic platforms. Responsibilities include building regression, integration, functional, and performance tests; analyzing test results and debugging integration issues; integrating tests into CI/CD workflows; and collaborating with autonomy, systems engineering, and flight test teams. You'll participate in laboratory and hardware testing of autonomous systems, sensors, and flight controllers while identifying opportunities to improve test coverage and validation workflows. Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Python programming experience; software development and debugging fundamentals; interest in robotics, autonomy, aerospace, embedded systems, or software testing.
