Technical Director

Summary

The Technical Director serves as the senior technical authority for complex engineering and IT programs at SAIC, responsible for defining technical strategy, overseeing system architecture and design reviews, and managing technical risk across cross-functional teams. The role requires translating customer requirements into technical architectures, providing mentorship to engineers and developers, and ensuring compliance with security standards and quality processes. The successful candidate will lead Technical Review Boards, engage with customer stakeholders, drive adoption of emerging technologies, and collaborate with program management on cost, schedule, and resource alignment. Candidates must have 14+ years of experience (or equivalent with advanced degree), active Secret clearance, 5+ years in a senior technical or management role, PMP certification, and expertise in project management, systems engineering, and DoD environments.
