Spring & Summer 2027 Software Engineering Co-op

Summary

Peraton seeks undergraduate and graduate software engineering co-ops to build and prototype software for San Diego County departments from January through August 2027. You'll write code using Python or Java, apply modern AI tools and AWS cloud services, and contribute to real projects modernizing public-sector services through rapid prototyping. The role requires object-oriented programming experience and Git version control, with exposure to generative AI APIs, AWS services (Bedrock, CodeCommit, Lambda), and agile tools like JIRA considered valuable.
