Metrology Software Engineer

Summary

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that interface with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and metrology systems for advanced fabrication and inspection workflows. Integrate CMM equipment with internal databases, MES, PLM, and ERP systems; develop automation routines, reporting dashboards, and data visualization tools; and troubleshoot metrology software and system issues. Requires 5–10 years of software engineering experience with hands-on CMM and metrology background, proficiency in C#, C++, Python, or similar languages, SQL/NoSQL database experience, and working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
