Summary

This role validates NGS (next-generation sequencing) data pipelines and bioinformatics workflows through comprehensive testing and automation. The engineer will design and execute testing strategies for alignment, variant calling, and annotation pipelines; develop automated test scripts in Python; and work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms. The position requires 10+ years of experience, strong knowledge of NGS file formats (FASTQ, BAM, VCF), bioinformatics QA expertise, and hands-on proficiency with Git, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and pipeline tools.
