The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and scale core backend services and APIs for high-throughput applications using Node.js, Python, or Go. Responsibilities include architecting relational and NoSQL databases for high availability, building data pipelines and asynchronous processing systems, and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. The role requires 3–6 years of experience building distributed systems at scale, with deep expertise in database design, caching strategies, and cloud platforms. Design, implement, and scale core backend services and APIs using Python, Go, Node.js, or Java to support high-throughput applications. Architect and optimize relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis) databases, deploy containerized services on AWS/GCP using Docker and Kubernetes, and build CI/CD pipelines with comprehensive automated testing. Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, low-latency features. Requires 3–6 years of distributed systems experience and proficiency in at least one backend language.

Design, build, and scale ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data warehouse infrastructure using Python, SQL, and modern orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect. Own the end-to-end data infrastructure that powers business intelligence and operational reporting, including data quality checks, anomaly detection, and performance optimization. Collaborate with analytics and software engineering teams to define data modeling standards and maintain infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform and CI/CD. Requires 3–6 years of data engineering or backend development experience with advanced SQL, Python, and hands-on work with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
