Systems Engineering Manager – Avionics (Integration, Verification & Verification)

Summary

Lead a systems engineering team responsible for avionics integration, verification, and validation activities for satellite communication systems. Direct technical problem-solving during integration phases, oversee certification and compliance (DO-160 frameworks), manage system architecture decisions across hardware and software, and ensure airworthiness of deployed solutions. Manage team budget, conduct performance reviews, and serve as technical spokesperson to internal/external stakeholders. Required skills include 7+ years in avionics/aerospace systems engineering with hands-on experience in embedded Linux/Windows, avionics I/O interfaces (ARINC 429, CAN, Ethernet), IVV tooling (git, Jira, bash, Python), and lab test equipment.
