System Engineer (Secret Clearence Required)

Summary

This role supports maintenance, security, and configuration of Windows and Linux environments for a DoD tactical shipboard system (CANES). Responsibilities include maintaining system software and firmware, developing automation scripts for patch deployments, implementing DISA STIG compliance and security hardening, performing vulnerability remediation, and managing software version control and configuration management. The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance, have 5–7 years of systems administration experience, and demonstrate proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting alongside hands-on Windows/Linux administration.
