System Engineer
Summary
As a System Engineer at General Atomics, you will support requirement verification and documentation using MBSE models and tools like DOORS, linking requirements to test plans and artifacts. You'll interface with customers during program shaping and requirements derivation, provide technical direction to design staff, and devise solutions to complex engineering problems. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering (or master's with less experience) plus progressive engineering experience, strong systems engineering fundamentals, and familiarity with digital engineering toolsets including SysML-based tools, MagicDraw, and DOORS. You may represent the organization as a prime technical contact on contracts and will prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
