Summary

Staff Software Engineer leading the design and evolution of Intuit's One Logging system, a high-scale, mission-critical observability platform spanning log ingestion, routing, cost optimization, and automation across on-premise and public cloud (AWS, GCP) deployments. The role requires architecting end-to-end logging pipelines, optimizing costs without sacrificing signal fidelity, and leading the modernization of core components including Front End Logging Service, log routers, and collection agents. You will mentor the team, set engineering standards, and partner cross-functionally with SRE and platform teams. Requires 8–10+ years building distributed systems, deep expertise in high-throughput data pipelines at multi-TB/PB scale, and strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Splunk, and infrastructure languages like Go, Java, or Python.
