Sr. Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack Software Discipline Lead)

Summary

Lead full-stack software engineering across Northrop Grumman NGAS programs, championing tools, processes, training, and metrics for systems using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Establish a cross-program Community of Practice to spread best practices, improve software reuse, and align subsystems with DoD strategic objectives (JADC2, Anywhere C2, multi-vehicle swarm). Serve as Subject Matter Expert in front-end frameworks (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS), back-end languages (Python, Java, Node.js), API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and containerization, plus core competencies in geospatial engineering, cybersecurity governance, interoperability standards, or open systems architectures. Requires 14+ years software engineering experience with Bachelor's in STEM, active Secret clearance, and ability to attain TS/SCI and Special Program Access.
