Sr. Software Engineer - Resident Onboarding

Summary

Join AppFolio's Resident Onboarding team as a Senior Software Engineer to design and evolve the service architecture for automating resident move-in processes. You'll own end-to-end domain expertise, lead technical design decisions for partner integrations and data pipelines, mentor engineers through code review and pairing, and build scalable solutions that handle complex, jurisdiction-specific business logic. This role requires 5+ years building production web services, demonstrated multi-service system architecture ownership, and production experience with Ruby on Rails, Go, or comparable stacks, plus strong design communication and cross-team technical leadership.
