Sr. Software Engineer - Platform Permissions

Summary

Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate AppFolio's authorization platform that controls access across all products. You'll own the roles, policies, and access-check systems that other teams build on; improve permission-check performance and reliability at scale; build libraries and tooling for teams to implement access control safely; and lead migrations of legacy permissions logic. You'll mentor engineers, drive design reviews, and ensure authorization changes ship safely through automated testing, feature flags, and observability.
