Summary

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating AppFolio's authorization platform — the core system that controls access and permissions across all products. You'll improve performance and reliability of permission checks at scale, build libraries and tooling for other teams to implement access control safely, lead migrations of legacy permissions logic, and mentor engineers while ensuring quality through automated testing, feature flags, and observability.
