Sr. Principal or Engineering Advisor - Agentic Lab Automation Integration

Summary

Design and build the integration layer between agentic AI systems and physical laboratory automation platforms (Hamilton, Tecan, Opentrons), creating multi-agent workflows that autonomously execute experiments and surface insights to scientists. You'll prototype agent planning strategies, memory systems, and human-in-the-loop patterns, then productionize them using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices. Partner with chemists, biologists, and automation engineers to deploy containerized orchestration frameworks (Argo) that connect cloud-based AI with lab instruments and LIMS infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in lab automation systems, Python application development, and the ability to bridge high-level AI planning logic with low-level instrument control.
