Software Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

The Software Infrastructure Engineer designs, deploys, and maintains containerized and virtualized infrastructure supporting complex software workloads in DoD and enterprise environments. Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift platforms; administering Linux systems and hypervisors; developing automation and configuration management solutions using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Terraform; integrating infrastructure with network dependencies; and troubleshooting across hardware, storage, containers, and hosted services. The role requires 3–5 years of progressive infrastructure or DevOps experience, Security+ certification, and an active DoD Secret clearance.
