Software Engineer

Summary

Design, deploy, and maintain virtualized Linux training environments for Navy simulation systems using KVM, libvirt, and Open vSwitch. Migrate services from tactical hardware to virtualized platforms, develop Python automation and Ansible playbooks for deployment and configuration, and troubleshoot complex integration issues across virtualization, networking, storage, and applications. Support cybersecurity compliance activities including STIG implementation and RMF activities. Requires 4–8 years of experience with Linux systems engineering, virtualization, and platform engineering, or a Master's degree with 2–6 years relevant experience.
