Senior Systems Engineer

Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer leads the full lifecycle of compute, camera, and radio systems—from requirements development through design, integration, testing, and qualification. You'll develop system architecture, define interfaces, conduct trade studies, and oversee verification and validation across hardware and software. The role requires 8+ years of systems engineering experience, deep expertise in embedded systems (ARM, PowerPC, x86 processors), flight and ground software, RTOSes, and embedded protocols (SpaceWire, CameraLink, CAN, etc.), plus proficiency in C/C++, Python, and requirements management tools.
