Senior/Staff Software Engineer with C++ - Drivers, Diagnostic, & Embedded Software (San Diego, CA)

Summary

Senior/Staff Software Engineer role focused on architecting, designing, and developing driver, diagnostic, and embedded software for intravascular ultrasound systems using C++. You will work cross-functionally with electrical, transducer, software, system, and ultrasound engineers to develop medical capital equipment, create software requirement specifications and architecture documents, and debug driver and embedded software for hardware-application communication. Requires 8+ years of embedded software development experience (preferably medical electronics), strong C++ expertise, object-oriented programming knowledge, and a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Experience with detailed design documentation, digital signal and image processing, and CUDA is a plus.
