Principal Software Engineer

Summary

Design, develop, and test embedded software for aerospace spacecraft and computer boards, with hands-on responsibility for bootloaders, BSPs, kernels, and device drivers across VxWorks, Embedded Linux, RTEMS, and bare-metal platforms. Write C/C++ and assembly code for real-time, high-reliability systems, and develop Python-based test automation tools. Participate in system verification, debugging, manufacturing support, and cross-discipline design reviews; contribute to software architecture and process improvement across projects. Requires 8–30 years of embedded systems experience, strong C/C++/Python proficiency, and deep knowledge of kernel/driver development, low-level debugging, and file-system fundamentals.
