Summary

Qualcomm is hiring a Principal Software Architect to design and implement Reliability, Availability, Serviceability (RAS) and manageability solutions for high-performance data center compute platforms based on Snapdragon/Oryon CPUs. The role requires deep expertise in ARM architecture, Linux kernels, RAS principles, and system manageability, with responsibility for architecting a robust software stack across firmware, HLOS, and BIOS layers. You will provide technical leadership across cross-functional hardware and software teams, engage with ARM and OCP communities, and ensure seamless integration of RAS and manageability features. This position demands 8+ years of software engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master's, 6+ with a PhD) and 4+ years with C, C++, Java, or Python.
