PLATFORM ENGINEER III

Summary

This Platform Engineer III role owns the full lifecycle of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and system deployment in a DoD environment. You will manage Git-based repositories, design and execute deployment automation workflows, and support casualty reporting and operational response. Responsibilities include Linux/Windows system configuration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes), scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform), network troubleshooting, cybersecurity compliance (STIGs, RMF, ATO), and root-cause analysis across complex integrated systems. The role requires 6+ years of progressively responsible platform engineering, systems integration, or DevOps experience in DoD, enterprise, or test environments, plus a Secret-level security clearance.
