Network Systems Engineer
Summary
The Systems Engineer Mid will lead Tier III troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, VPN, and security technologies supporting mission-critical DoD environments. Responsibilities include configuring and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, network sensors), developing Engineering Implementation Plans, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and performing lab validation for firmware upgrades and configuration changes. The role requires 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, proficiency with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), MPLS, multicast, and network security technologies, plus DoD 8570.01 IAT Level III certification and a Cisco or equivalent networking certification. This position operates in a SAFe Agile environment, requires active Secret Clearance with Top Secret eligibility, and is based on-site at Pearl Harbor, HI with alternate locations in Whidbey Island, WA or Norfolk, VA.
