Summary

GEM Team seeks a fractional Network & Systems Administrator (1099, 3–4 days/week) to manage network, server, cloud, and security infrastructure for a financial services organization in San Diego. The role involves administering Cisco Catalyst, Meraki SD-WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server; troubleshooting across multiple locations; and partnering with IT leadership on infrastructure initiatives. Required: 5+ years of network/systems/infrastructure administration experience, strong hands-on expertise in Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, Microsoft identity and server platforms, and TCP/IP networking fundamentals. Preferred: financial services or regulated-industry experience and familiarity with Check Point Avanan and Arctic Wolf.
