Summary

The Network Specialist provides operational support for DoD Defense Health Agency LAN/WAN infrastructure at Naval Medical Center San Diego, including daily troubleshooting of core and edge switches, resolving network and routing protocol issues across all OSI layers, and supporting routing, switching, firewall, and cabling equipment. The role requires expertise in TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall/VPN technologies, and hands-on maintenance of LAN/WAN systems.
