Network Engineer

Summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Network Engineer at Camp Smith, Hawaii to design, integrate, and execute scalable exercise network architectures for USPACOM's Joint Exercise Program across the Pacific region. The role requires designing and maintaining theater-level networks supporting classified and unclassified joint and multinational training environments, integrating common services and C2/Mission Command systems, troubleshooting network issues, and briefing network concepts to senior staff. Required skills include deep expertise in WAN, LAN, wireless networks, Type 1 encryption, software-defined networking, firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust environments, cloud infrastructure, DoD RMF, and cybersecurity best practices. A Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, active DoD 8570 IAT II compliance certification (Security+ CE or greater), and 9+ years of networking experience are required.
