Network Automation Engineer

Summary

This role provides engineering sustainment support for shipboard networks, including troubleshooting, configuration management, and security hardening across Cisco ISE/NAC platforms in Navy environments (CANES). The engineer will develop automation tooling using Ansible and PowerShell, implement STIGs and security policies, lead network baseline upgrades, and manage Engineering Change Requests within DevOps and Agile workflows. Requires 3–5 years of network/systems engineering experience with DoD or Navy programs, active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred), Security+ or CCNA certification, and hands-on expertise in Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
