Network Automation Engineer

Summary

This role develops, implements, and maintains network automation solutions for DoD/Navy shipboard systems, with focus on Cisco ISE/NAC authentication and security policy enforcement. The engineer will create and sustain Ansible playbooks and PowerShell automation workflows, troubleshoot across multiple Cisco platforms (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless), and apply security hardening (STIGs) to network appliances. Responsibilities include supporting engineering change requests, compliance validation, and cross-functional collaboration within Agile and DevOps frameworks for iterative network sustainment.
