Junior Manufacturing test developer
Summary
This role involves designing, developing, and deploying automated electronic manufacturing test systems for PCBA and system-level products at Form Energy. The engineer will lead Functional Circuit Test (FCT) and End-of-Line (EOL) test development, define test strategies and validation methodologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage external vendors for test fixture development. Key responsibilities include providing Design-for-Test feedback, executing Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, supporting NPI builds and failure analysis, and driving continuous improvements in test architecture and manufacturing efficiency. Required skills include 5+ years in manufacturing test engineering, proficiency in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand, deep knowledge of embedded communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, SPI, I2C, IsoSPI, Modbus RTU, Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP), automated test instrumentation, and experience integrating test systems with MES/production databases.
