Embedded Software Engineer

Summary

Design, develop, and integrate embedded software for advanced wireless algorithms and protocols on general-purpose compute platforms within Qualcomm Research's 6G initiative. You will work across the full development lifecycle—from prototyping through integration and testing—optimizing for real-time performance while collaborating with system architects, RF/baseband engineers, and cross-functional teams. This role demands strong C/C++ and embedded systems expertise, with proficiency in multi-threading, OS fundamentals, and debugging tools (gdb, perf). You'll contribute to technical design reviews, create high-quality documentation, and drive pre-commercial interoperability trials and industry showcases.
