Data Engineer

Summary

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark to transform raw operational data into governed, analytics-ready datasets for a DoD Navy client. Develop Python and SQL-based data transformation workflows, analyze datasets lacking predefined requirements to identify actionable insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous data problems into clear solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across pipelines while troubleshooting issues to maintain reliable data delivery. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) plus 3–5 years of data engineering experience.
