Cyber Engineer (Mid-level)

Summary

Mid-level cyber engineer responsible for planning, implementing, and managing security measures protecting DoD data, systems, and networks. Role involves troubleshooting security and network problems, responding to breaches, testing for vulnerabilities, implementing IA controls, and ensuring DoD RMF compliance. Requires 6–8 years of hands-on cyber/IT experience, in-depth Linux and virtualized systems knowledge (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V), firewall configuration and troubleshooting, and understanding of DoD IA frameworks. Must hold DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification and active Secret clearance.
