Business Intelligence and Planning Analyst

Summary

The Business Intelligence and Planning Analyst will analyze campus-wide data to support strategic decision-making across UC San Diego's Student Affairs division. The role involves developing financial and operational models, producing reports from internal databases and BI tools, and translating complex data into actionable insights for non-technical leaders. The analyst will manage ad-hoc requests, support workforce planning and revenue optimization, and work cross-functionally with professional and technical staff. A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Information Systems is required, along with demonstrated analytical and statistical skills, proficiency with BI applications, and strong communication abilities.
