Application Software Engineer

Summary

The successful candidate will develop web services, full-stack web applications, and persistence layers in an Agile Scrum environment, applying secure software development principles and clean coding practices aligned with S.O.L.I.D standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with software, systems, information assurance, test, and QA engineers while setting and driving adoption of Test Driven Development practices. The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), UI frameworks (React, Angular, Ionic, Qt, etc.), automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber), and CI/CD tooling. An active Secret clearance is required, and DoD 8570 approved security certification (Security+) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
