Design and own network security across Saronic's enterprise, on-premises, cloud, and maritime vessel communications infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing firewalls, segmentation, VPN/ZTNA, and wireless systems (Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba); securing AWS VPC architecture in commercial and GovCloud; architecting secure vessel communications over cellular, RF, SATCOM, and mesh links with cryptographic key management; and building network observability and automation at scale. Requires 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network security experience, production firewall and VPN operations, L3-L7 networking fundamentals, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Senior Software QA Engineer to own system testing for Firestorm's avionics platform—embedded Linux and RTOS flight computers, board support packages, device drivers, and safety-critical data paths. You will design and execute risk-based test strategies (feature/bring-up, exploratory, regression, acceptance) and build automation across HIL/SIL rigs exercising real buses (CAN/CAN-FD, UART, SPI, I²C, Ethernet) and links (MAVLink, Tactical Data Links) under fault conditions. You will instrument diagnostics, triage defects, and harden robustness for timing, jitter, packet loss, brownouts, and recovery paths before Flight Test. This is a full-time onsite role in San Diego requiring hands-on bench work with flight computers, power systems, radios, and sensors.

Lead a small embedded Linux software team building mission-critical aerial systems and autonomous platforms for defense applications. You'll split your time between team management (standups, architecture reviews, task prioritization) and hands-on C/C++ development of Linux daemons, REST APIs, and system services. Design for real-time performance, security hardening, and field operability while collaborating across autonomy, avionics, mechanical, and electrical teams. Own the full software lifecycle from architecture and CI/CD pipelines to documentation and field diagnostics.
