The engineer will conduct early-stage silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, and develop automated test content to stress systems across functional, performance, stability, and benchmark dimensions under various operating conditions. Responsibilities include hardware characterization, software integration testing, creation of production screens, and collaboration with IC design and development teams. The position requires proficiency in embedded systems, SoC testing concepts, test case development, lab instrumentation, and programming in C/C++, Python, or C#.

The DUV Software Group at Cymer seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and implement test plans for embedded real-time control systems used in laser-based electro-mechanical equipment. You will design test cases, execute testing in laboratory environments, analyze requirements for completeness, conduct code and design reviews, and collaborate with Systems, Algorithms, and Software engineers to ensure reliability and performance. The role requires hands-on experience with hard real-time embedded systems, actuators, motors, sensors, RTOS, and distributed control architectures, plus proficiency with test automation, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and data analysis. You'll translate requirements into verification strategies, trace problems to root cause, and maintain auditable test documentation across the full software development lifecycle.

Digital Test Engineers will create test solutions for Qualcomm silicon validation, characterization, and manufacturing enablement across microprocessors, high-speed I/O, logic, and memory IP. The role involves hands-on work with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers), signal integrity analysis, and development using Python, Java, and Linux. Candidates will support product introduction across multiple specializations including DFT/yield management, AI/ML-driven test development, and emerging areas like 2.5D/3D IC testing and photonic integrated circuits. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 3+ years of hardware engineering experience.
