Qualcomm seeks a Staff Embedded Software Engineer (6+ years) to design, implement, and maintain real-time operating system (RTOS) software components across QuRT OS and Zephyr RTOS platforms deployed on Qualcomm SoCs. You will own complex system-level issues, lead feature design from requirements through deployment, perform deep root-cause analysis on crashes and traces, and collaborate across hardware, systems, validation, and software teams. The role emphasizes technical leadership, ownership of large technical areas, and raising team quality through example while leveraging modern development tools and automation. Strong hands-on experience with RTOS concepts, C/C++, low-level system software, and embedded development is required.
