Drive ultra-high-performance networking software handling millions of packets per second through expert C/C++ development, low-level hardware tuning, and data structure optimization. Own architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ship production code across EC2 and Lambda with full ownership from design through operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Software Defined Networking (SDN) capabilities that enhance security, availability, and reliability.

Design and implement ultra-high-performance packet processing software for AWS EC2's virtualized networking stack, handling encryption, firewalls, routing, and monitoring across 9M+ hosts. Own end-to-end development of features running on the EC2 Nitro System, from design through production deployment, optimizing for millions of packets per second on single CPU cores. Build secure, scalable monitoring and diagnostics services, and design hardware/software validation platforms enabling efficient CI/CD. Mentor junior engineers on systems architecture and maintainable code while collaborating cross-functionally to define requirements and improve development processes.
