The role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring cybersecurity and information assurance policies for mission-critical systems; developing system IA documentation (categorization forms, security plans, assessment plans, continuous monitoring plans, risk assessments); and guiding the software development team through security scan review, evaluation, and remediation. The engineer will work with system owners and stakeholders to manage cybersecurity requirements and continuously improve cyber posture. Requires 2–3 years of Department of Navy accreditation experience and working knowledge of NIST standards, RMF, and eMASS.

The Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) Network Administrator operates, maintains, and troubleshoots network connectivity and infrastructure on the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) across multiple classification levels. Working in the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC), the candidate will support WAN circuits, router and switch configurations, firewall ACLs, VoIP device registrations, cryptographic device configurations, and coordinate with Navy, DISA, and commercial providers for implementation and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include maintaining Information Assurance compliance, IOS upgrades, network device configuration changes, and supporting remote sites in restoring network failures. The role requires technical expertise in LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, and voice communication networks.
