The Algorithm Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy signal processing applications on custom Leidos SoCs, porting algorithms from MATLAB/Python/C++ to optimized C code for real-time, massively parallelized execution. Responsibilities include hardware-software co-design, DSP optimization leveraging SIMD/VLIW/accelerators, Hardware-in-the-loop testing, and collaboration across signal processing, embedded, RF, and systems engineering teams. The role requires 8+ years of C/C++ embedded systems development, strong signal processing fundamentals, and experience translating research algorithms into production real-time systems.
