The DUV Software Group at Cymer seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and implement test plans for embedded real-time control systems used in laser-based electro-mechanical equipment. You will design test cases, execute testing in laboratory environments, analyze requirements for completeness, conduct code and design reviews, and collaborate with Systems, Algorithms, and Software engineers to ensure reliability and performance. The role requires hands-on experience with hard real-time embedded systems, actuators, motors, sensors, RTOS, and distributed control architectures, plus proficiency with test automation, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and data analysis. You'll translate requirements into verification strategies, trace problems to root cause, and maintain auditable test documentation across the full software development lifecycle.
