As a Staff Software Engineer in Data Platform Engineering, you will design, build, and operate cloud-native platform components and services, taking features from design through production. You'll lead well-scoped technical projects, collaborate with senior engineers on architecture alignment, and ensure reliability and scalability through testing and instrumentation. You'll spend most of your time hands-on building operators, controllers, automation, and platform services that other teams depend on, while mentoring junior engineers. The role requires 8+ years of software development experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees), 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience, and proficiency with at least one major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).

The Network Engineer, Systems will provide engineering, administration, and operational support for complex RDT&E and secure network environments supporting U.S. Navy initiatives. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining routing, switching, firewall, and boundary protection solutions (HPE Aruba, Palo Alto); monitoring network performance with enterprise tools (Traffic Sentinel, Zabbix); implementing network security solutions (NAC, ClearPass, 802.1X, Zero Trust, IPsec); and managing cloud connectivity across AWS and Azure. The role requires 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, hands-on expertise with OSPF, BGP, IPsec, VLANs, cloud networking, STIG compliance, and firmware lifecycle management. Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, active Secret Clearance, and IAT II Certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC, GICSP, or SSCP).
