This role provides IT risk management and cybersecurity oversight for a large, multi-location enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include triaging security alerts and IOCs, conducting IT security audits (network, OS, data center), administering Microsoft 365 Defender for Cloud and endpoint protection platforms, managing vulnerability assessments, and assisting with cloud migrations to Azure and Microsoft 365 services. The role requires 5+ years of IT experience in large environments, IT audit experience, Security+ or Cloud+ certification, and hands-on administration of Active Directory, SIEM tools, and service-desk ticketing systems.

As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer, you will develop and implement security solutions to protect military infrastructure, performing risk and vulnerability assessments across networks, systems, and applications. You'll troubleshoot complex security challenges, manage Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities, and implement cybersecurity controls using tools like ACAS, STIGs, and eMASS. The role requires 3+ years of DoD/government IT experience, expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux), network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, zero-trust), and compliance testing. You will communicate security findings to both technical and non-technical audiences while identifying advanced threats and supporting Navy missions.
