SRC seeks a mid-level platform engineer with 5+ years of CANES experience and 5+ years in IT systems design/integration to analyze existing OpenShift cluster deployments and design solutions addressing identified gaps. The role involves creating Ansible automation to integrate OpenShift clusters with CANES network, identity, and PKI services; performing on-platform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting; and authoring technical documentation. The engineer will work autonomously to identify technical limitations, test solutions, and propose technology improvements while optionally mentoring junior team members.

Systems Engineer supporting U.S. Navy command and control programs under Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), responsible for maritime surveillance and C2 capability integration for partner nations. Core duties include requirements definition and traceability, system-of-systems architecture across dissimilar systems, interface definition and control, test/verification/validation planning, technical trade studies, and coordination across multiple program offices. The role demands hands-on systems engineering discipline: turning partner-nation requirements into defined interfaces, integrating capabilities never designed to interoperate, and verifying results meet specifications. Must be comfortable with computing and network environments (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching, Windows/Linux servers, virtualization) sufficient to troubleshoot credibly alongside network engineers.

Senior Network Engineer to design, configure, and operate network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls in support of the Joint Fires Network (JFN) program. Responsibilities include implementing SD-WAN solutions across sites and cloud environments, troubleshooting complex routing and switching issues, creating network security measures, and managing junior network engineers. Required: 10+ years networking experience (or equivalent with lower degree), 4 years CANES firewall/network engineering, CCNA certification, proficiency in Python and Ansible, and deep knowledge of Cisco QoS, dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, NHRP, GRE, DMVPN), and SDN/SD-WAN technologies.
